Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) checks the output stage that drives the fuel injectors and flags a fault when the injection quantity is too large. The last digit of the fault code gives cylinder 4.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in the connections to the cylinder 4 injector
- Open circuit in the signal wire (+) to cylinder 4
- Open circuit in the signal wire (-) to cylinder 4
- Damaged cylinder 4 injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check the connector to the cylinder 4 injector for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Look for pinched, chafed or broken wires to cylinder 4, and use a multimeter to check that they have no open circuit
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the cylinder 4 injector and see whether it responds
- 4Clear the fault code and test drive the car. If it returns once the wiring is intact, have a workshop replace the cylinder 4 injector
