Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM monitors the signal that reports the position of the glow plug relay. If that signal is faulty, for example because of a fault in the signal wire, fault code ECM-1826 is set.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the signal wire
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check the glow plug relay connectors for play and oxidation
- 2With a multimeter, check that the signal wire to the glow plug relay is not shorted to voltage or ground and is not broken
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: clear the fault code and see whether it returns after the engine has run for a while
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the glow plug relay and its signal wire
