Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM drives the injector for cylinder 4 over a control signal wire. If the signal is faulty, or the control module has an internal fault, fault code ECM-182F is set.
Mulige årsaker
- Control signal wire shorted to voltage
- Control signal wire shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the control signal wire
- Defective cylinder 4 injector
- Defective engine control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check the connector to the cylinder 4 injector for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 2With a multimeter, check that the control wire to cylinder 4 is not broken and not shorted to ground or voltage
- 3If the injector and wiring are fine, the fault may be in the control module. Clear the code and see whether it returns
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the cylinder 4 injector or check the control module
