Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) has received no signal to the injector on cylinder 3, so it sets the code. The cause may be an open circuit in the signal or voltage wire, poor contact in the connections, or a damaged injector.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Open circuit in the power supply to the injector
- Damaged injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the fault code and check whether it returns
- 2Check the connector at injector 3 for play, oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to injector 3 has no open circuit
- 4Check that the supply wire from the system relay to the injector has no open circuit
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate injector 3 and listen for it working
- 6Have a workshop replace the injector if the fault remains
