Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the circuit for the injector on cylinder 4 and finds that the signal is missing. The fault can come from poor contact, an open circuit in the signal or power supply wire, or a damaged injector.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Open circuit in the power supply to the injector
- Damaged injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the fault code and check whether it returns
- 2Check the connector at injector 4 for looseness or oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to injector 4 has no open circuit
- 4Check that the supply wire from the system relay to the injector is intact
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate injector 4 and listen for a clicking sound
