Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) has registered that the signal to the injector on cylinder 5 is missing. The cause may be poor contact, an open circuit in the signal or power supply wire, or a damaged injector. The code applies to cylinder 5 only.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Open circuit in the power supply to the injector
- Damaged injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the fault code and check whether it returns
- 2Check the connector at injector 5 for play and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to injector 5 has no open circuit
- 4Check that the supply wire from the system relay to the injector has no open circuit
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate injector 5 and listen for it working
- 6Have a workshop replace the injector if the fault remains
