Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module checks the signal wire to the control valve at the inlet and stores the code when the signal is too low. The control valve operates the damper in the intake pipe, and the fault can lie in the connectors, the signal wire, the power supply or the valve itself.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact, contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Open circuit in the power supply
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Damaged control valve at the inlet
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the damper in the intake pipe has not stuck
- 2Check the connectors at the control valve and the control module for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not broken and not in contact with ground
- 4Have a diagnostic tool? Activate the control valve and check that the damper moves
- 5If the connectors and wiring are sound but the fault remains, have a workshop check the control valve
