Hva betyr feilkoden?
Although the code is titled signal missing, it applies when the calibration current to the front oxygen sensor on bank 1 has stopped. The sensor signal is also implausibly high at fuel shut-off, and the code is then stored.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance and oxidation at the connections
- Open circuit in the cable for calibration current
- Damaged front heated oxygen sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check the oxygen sensor connector for oxidation and loose connections. Do not use rust solvent spray or grease in it
- 3If possible, take readings from the cable side of the connector so you do not damage it or create a future loose contact
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the calibration current cable has no open circuit
- 5If the cable and connector are intact, have a workshop try a new oxygen sensor
