Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM checks the voltage on the system relay coil. The coil is fed through a fuse in the engine bay fuse box and grounded in the control module. If the voltage is too high, the code is stored.
Mulige årsaker
- Cable short-circuited to ground
- Damaged system relay
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and identify the fuse that feeds the system relay in the engine bay fuse box
- 2Look at the connections at the relay and the control module for oxidation and loose contacts
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the cable to the system relay is not short-circuited to ground
- 4If possible, check the relevant functions of the car with the switches and a test drive to see how the fault shows
- 5If the fuses, connectors and cables are intact, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the system relay and the control module
