Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module reads the fuel temperature sensor, which is built into the fuel pressure sensor, and the fault is set when that signal is too low. Causes can be poor contact, an open signal or ground wire, a short to supply voltage in the signal wire, or a damaged sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxide in the terminals
- Signal cable shorted to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start the engine and let it warm up. Read the code and see whether it returns
- 2With a diagnostic tool, check the fuel temperature in live data with the ignition on; a value that is too low or still points to the sensor or wiring
- 3Check the connector at the fuel pressure sensor, which also carries the temperature sensor: it should be secure and clean
- 4With the car switched off, use a multimeter to check that the signal and ground wires are not broken and that the signal wire has no contact with voltage
- 5If the wiring is in order but the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel pressure sensor as needed
