Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module compares the fuel temperature signal while driving with the readings from the intake and engine temperature sensors. If the fuel temperature deviates too far from the others, the fault is set. The cause may be poor contact or a damaged fuel temperature sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Damaged fuel temperature sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Switch off the ignition and check the connector at the fuel pressure sensor, where the temperature sensor sits: it should be secure and clean
- 2With a diagnostic tool, compare the fuel temperature in live data with the intake air and engine temperatures. When the engine is cold these should be close to each other
- 3Start the engine, let it warm up and read the code again to see whether the fault remains
- 4If the connector is in order but the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel temperature sensor, which is built into the fuel pressure sensor
