Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) compares the signal from the boost pressure sensor with a calculated model. The fault code is set when the value deviates too much from the model, and the fault is checked when the engine is switched off.
Mulige årsaker
- Loose contact, contact resistance or oxidation at the connectors
- Damaged boost pressure sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the connectors to the boost pressure sensor are secure and free from play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Check that the wiring to the sensor is not chafed or loose
- 3With a diagnostic tool and ignition on, read the boost and ambient pressure in live data and check the values are reasonable together
- 4Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check or replace the boost pressure sensor
