The signal to the injector for cylinder 5 is too low. The fault may come from a short to ground in the signal wire or from a damaged injector.

- Signal wire short-circuited to ground
- Damaged injector
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Look for chafing on the cylinder 5 wire, especially where it runs close to the body
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to cylinder 5 has no contact with ground (the body)
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: check that the cylinder 5 injector responds when activated
- 5If the wire is intact but the fault remains, have a workshop check the cylinder 5 injector
