Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM measures the current through the fuel flow valve using an internal A/D converter. The fault code is set when the converter value is incorrect, which can be caused by a short in the signal wire, a sticking valve or contamination in the fuel system.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire short-circuited to ground or supply voltage
- The fuel flow valve sticks
- Contamination such as water or dirt in the fuel system
- Damaged fuel flow control valve
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Inspect the signal wire to the fuel flow valve for chafing, as a short to ground or supply voltage can occur there
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to ground (the body) or to supply voltage
- 4Check the connector at the fuel flow valve for oxidation and play
- 5If the wiring is intact, have a workshop decide whether the valve is sticking or the fuel system is contaminated
