Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module has detected misfires on several cylinders that could damage the catalytic converter. The code is stored when this happens, together with another fault code that shows which cylinders are misfiring. The causes lie in the fuel system, the ignition or the engine air flow, and the fault should be corrected soon so the catalytic converter is not damaged.
Mulige årsaker
- Low fuel level
- Engine never reaches full operating temperature across repeated cold starts
- Contaminated or incorrect fuel, for example summer fuel in winter
- Air leakage in the intake system
- Blocked or leaking injector
- Faulty fuel pressure
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1First investigate the other fault codes that affect camshaft control or the camshaft reset valve
- 2Check the fuel level in the tank and that the engine oil level is correct
- 3Check that the fuel suits the season and that the tank is not contaminated
- 4Check the spark plugs and the ignition coil connections, and look for moisture in the plug wells
- 5Check the intake system for leaks and the crankcase ventilation for blockages
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel pressure and the engine compression
