Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module counts the ignitions in all cylinders during a set time period. If too many ignitions are missing, the code is stored. It is an information code that never occurs alone; it appears together with another fault code for the ignition coils, and fault-tracing is therefore carried out from that other code.
Mulige årsaker
- Loose connection in the connector
- Defective ignition coil
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the ignition coil connector
- Damaged ignition coil
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1First investigate the other fault code for the ignition coils, since this code appears together with it
- 2Check the ignition coil connectors for play and oxidation
- 3Check that the ignition coils are firmly fitted and undamaged
- 4Read and clear the fault codes, run the engine and see which ones return
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the ignition coils
