Misfires on cylinder one during the first revolutions after starting affect the exhaust emissions. The code indicates that cylinder one is misfiring. The fault is checked while the engine runs and may have causes in the injection, the fuel, the air flow or the compression.

- Uneven compression
- Air leakage
- Faulty fuel pressure
- Low fuel level
- Contaminated or incorrect fuel

- 1First investigate the other fault codes that affect camshaft control or the camshaft reset valve
- 2Check the fuel level and that the engine oil level is correct
- 3Check the spark plug on cylinder one
- 4Check the intake system for leaks
- 5Check that the fuel suits the season
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel pressure and the compression on cylinder one
