Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine has misfired on cylinder five during the first revolutions after it was started. The control module stores the code when the misfires are detected during starting and indicates cylinder five. The fault may have causes in the fuel, the fuel pressure, the intake or the injection.
Mulige årsaker
- Low fuel level
- Engine never reaches full operating temperature across repeated cold starts
- Contaminated or incorrect fuel
- Poor fuel quality, for example summer fuel in winter
- Air leakage
- Blocked crankcase ventilation
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1First investigate the other fault codes that affect camshaft control or the camshaft reset valve
- 2Check the fuel level in the tank and that the engine oil level is correct
- 3Check the spark plug on cylinder five
- 4Check the crankcase ventilation for blockages
- 5Check the intake system for leaks
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the fuel pressure
