Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module knows where the camshaft is from the intake side sensor. When the signal disappears but then returns, the control module registers a fault and stores the code. Such a fault can make the engine difficult to start.
Mulige årsaker
- The camshaft position sensor is in the wrong position
- Damaged camshaft position sensor
- Loose connection
- Camshafts incorrectly adjusted
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start the engine, raise the speed a few times and read the code after the road test
- 2Check that the intake camshaft sensor connector is secure and free from oxidation
- 3Check that the sensor is correctly installed and that neither the sensor nor its housing is damaged
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: see whether the fault status shows a permanent fault or one that is not active at the moment
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the camshaft angle against the crankshaft
