The control module checks the signal wire to ignition coil 2 and sets the code when the signal is too low. The code identifies ignition coil 2.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Damaged ignition coil
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the code and restart the engine to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the connector at ignition coil 2 is fastened and free from oxidation
- 3Look for chafing on the wire to ignition coil 2 where it may rest against the body
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wire to coil 2 has no contact with ground
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the coil and wire with diagnostic equipment
