Hva betyr feilkoden?
According to the engine control module, the signal to the ignition coil for cylinder 2 is too high. The fault may lie in the wire between the control module and the coil, where the signal may have shorted to supply voltage, or in the ignition coil itself. Cylinder 2 can then misfire.
Mulige årsaker
- A short to supply voltage in the cable between the module and the coil
- Damaged ignition coil
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the connector at ignition coil 2 is fully seated and dry
- 2Follow the cable between the control module and the coil and look for chafing, kinks or places where it may have been pinched
- 3With a multimeter you can check whether the wire has contact with plus
- 4Read the code, note that it refers to ignition coil 2, clear it and road test
- 5If the wire is intact: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the ignition coil
