Hva betyr feilkoden?
The leak diagnostic has found a very small leak in the fuel tank system, a so-called smallest leak. The fault can be in the tank, the filler pipe, the filler cap, the canister, the canister shut-off valve or the hoses between them. Because the leak is so small, it can be hard to find without testing the system.
Mulige årsaker
- Leaking fuel tank
- Leaking filler pipe or filler cap
- Leaking canister, shut-off valve or the lines between them
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the filler cap is correctly fitted and that its seal is undamaged
- 2Check hoses and hose connections at the canister, the canister shut-off valve and the tank, and remedy as needed
- 3Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment run a fast leak check of the tank system, since the leak is too small to find by sight
- 4The test does not start when the engine is cold, so let the engine warm up before the workshop tests
- 5Clear the fault code after the repair and test drive the car to see if it returns
