Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) has registered an internal fault in the electric cooling fan, and the code is set. The cause may be poor contact, a missing supply voltage to the fan control module, a break or a short to ground in the wiring, or a damaged fan.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- No supply voltage to the cooling fan control module
- Open or short-circuit to ground in the wiring
- Damaged electric cooling fan
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fan blade is not blocked and turns easily with the ignition off
- 2With a diagnostic tool: activate the cooling fan's speed steps with the ignition on and see which ones work
- 3Check the fuse, the supply cable and the ground lead to the cooling fan
- 4Check the connectors between the engine control module and the fan control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the cables between the control modules are not broken or short-circuited to ground
