The intake camshaft pulley locks itself into a fixed position once the engine has been stopped. The engine control module checks at start-up that the pulley is locked, and if it is not, the fault code is stored.
Mulige årsaker
- Blocked oil ducts to the intake camshaft reset valve
- Damaged reset valve
- Mechanical fault in the VVT unit
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Have a workshop remove the intake camshaft reset valve and check the cylinder head oil ducts for dirt and blockage
- 2Clear any blockage that is found
- 3Replace the reset valve if the fault remains after these measures
- 4If the fault still persists, the VVT unit may be damaged, which a workshop will judge
