Hva betyr feilkoden?

The engine control module (ECM) monitors the signal to the main relay, which powers the control module through the 15 supply. The code is set when that signal is faulty. Some functions then cannot be checked or do not work normally, such as post-diagnosis and cruise control. The cause may be a short to ground in the signal wire or a defective main relay.

1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
2Check the signal wire to the main relay for a short to ground; use a multimeter to confirm it has no contact with the body
3Check that the main relay is firmly seated and that its connections are free from oxidation
4If the fault remains after these checks, have a workshop replace the main relay if needed and confirm the 15 supply works
