Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM registers a fault in the brake pedal sensor circuit, the stop lamp switch circuit or the communication with the brake control module (BCM) while the engine runs. Codes in the brake control module and the central electronic module must be dealt with first, as they may be the cause. The result is that the cruise control does not work at all.

- The BCM or the CEM has a fault
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes stored in the BCM and the CEM and remedy those first
- 2If you have diagnostic equipment, read the stop lamp switch status in live data while you press and release the brake pedal; the status should change between off and on
- 3Make sure the stop lamp switch is seated correctly and that its connections to the control module are tight and free from oxidation
- 4Check that the stop lamp switch is closed when the pedal is pressed and open when the pedal is unaffected
- 5The brake system is safety-critical, so have a workshop carry out the brake-related checks you cannot do yourself
