Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module constantly checks its internal RAM, the working memory it uses while running. The code is set when a fault is found in that memory. Although the code is named faulty signal, it concerns the module's own memory rather than a signal from a sensor, and the module then attempts to restart itself.

- Software in the module is faulty
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and start the engine to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the battery is in good condition and that the engine control module connectors are free from oxidation
- 3If the fault remains, a workshop can try downloading new software into the module; this needs the right equipment
- 4If new software does not help, the module is probably damaged and must be replaced; the new module then needs its software, which a workshop also handles
