Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fuel flow control valve regulates the fuel pressure in the fuel system when the engine is warm. The engine control module has registered that the pressure is wrong in that mode. Although the code is named open circuit, it concerns fuel pressure, and the fault can cause poor performance and jerky running.
Mulige årsaker
- Low fuel level in the fuel tank
- Leakage in the fuel system
- Air in the fuel lines
- Blocked fuel filter
- Damaged fuel flow control valve (MPROP)
- Damaged tank pump or injection pump
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check and fix any fault codes for the tank pump first
- 2Check the fuel level in the tank and top up if it is low
- 3Check the fuel system for leaks and check whether the fuel filter is blocked
- 4Check that the connector to the fuel flow control valve is firmly seated and not corroded
- 5Have a workshop check the fuel pressure and the injector valves with diagnostic equipment if the fault remains
