Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module checks the heater circuit of the rear lambda sensor on bank 1, sensor 2. It is a general fault with no more specific description, and it is set when the circuit is shorted to ground, has an open circuit, or the resistance of the heating element is wrong. On cars with two lambda sensors the code relates to the rear sensor, and on cars with three sensors to the middle one.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact and oxidation in the connections
- Supply wire shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the supply wire
- Faulty rear lambda sensor
- Blown fuse
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check the fuse for the lambda sensor
- 3Check the connector at the rear lambda sensor for poor contact and oxidation, and do not use rust-release spray or grease in the connector
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the sensor is not shorted to ground and has no open circuit
- 5If the above does not solve the fault: have a workshop try a new lambda sensor
