The signal from the turbo position sensor is too high compared with how much the turbo is being commanded, according to the engine control module. The code relates to electrical faults and is checked while the engine is running.
Mulige årsaker
- A vacuum hose that leaks air
- The turbo control valve sticks
- The turbo control valve is broken
- The turbo position sensor is broken
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code with a diagnostic tool while the engine runs and check whether it is active
- 2Look at the vacuum hoses to the turbo control valve for cracks or wear
- 3Check that the fuses for the turbo control are intact. Their location is in the instruction manual
- 4Check the connector at the turbo position sensor and make sure it is fully seated
- 5With a multimeter, check whether the position sensor wire has a short to supply voltage or an open circuit
- 6Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the turbo control valve and whether the position sensor needs replacing
