The engine control module monitors the turbocharger and checks the PWM signals to the turbo control motor, the VNT regulator and turbo control valve B (bypass). The code is set when any of these signals is wrong, and

- Open circuit in the PWM signal lead for the turbo control motor
- Damaged cables or connectors
- Loose connections
- Open circuit in the PWM signal lead for the VNT regulator
- Open circuit in the PWM signal lead for turbo control valve B (bypass)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code with a diagnostic tool with the engine running and note whether it is active
- 2Make sure the fuses are intact. Their location is in the instruction manual or on the fuse chart
- 3Check the connectors to the turbo control motor, the VNT regulator and turbo control valve B for loose connections
- 4Go through the wiring to the three controls for chafing and pinch damage
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check that the controls receive the correct control signal if the fault remains
