Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module checks the preheating circuit of the front oxygen sensor on bank 2, the back cylinder row beside the cabin, namely cylinders 2, 4, 6 and 8. The code is set when the circuit is short-circuited to supply voltage, and the check can be made with the ignition on.
Mulige årsaker
- Power lead short-circuited to supply voltage
- Damaged front heated oxygen sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault status with a diagnostic tool when the diagnostic is complete. A status of Fault found shows the fault is present now
- 2Make sure the fuses are intact. Their locations are on the fuse chart or in the instruction manual
- 3Look at the lead to the front oxygen sensor on bank 2 for chafing or pinch damage where it could touch a live wire
- 4With a multimeter, check that the power lead is not short-circuited to supply voltage
- 5Replace the front oxygen sensor if the fault remains and the wiring is intact
