Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module monitors the preheating of the rear oxygen sensor on bank 2, sensor 2. The fault is registered when the lead is short-circuited to ground, when there is an open circuit, or when the heater resistance is wrong. While the fault is present, preheating of the rear sensor is switched off.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- The power lead is short-circuited to ground
- Open circuit in the power lead
- Damaged rear heated oxygen sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With the ignition on, read the fault status with a diagnostic tool once the diagnostic is complete. A status of Fault found means the fault is present now
- 2Do not use rust solvent spray or grease on the oxygen sensor connector
- 3Look for oxidation and contact resistance at the connector of the rear oxygen sensor on bank 2
- 4With a multimeter, check that the preheating lead is not short-circuited to ground and has no open circuit
- 5Replace the rear oxygen sensor if the fault remains after checking the connector and wiring
