Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module monitors the sensor in the left door mirror. Once the engine has run warm and has had time to cool properly, the outside temperature is compared with the intake, fuel and coolant temperatures. The code is set when the gap becomes too large.
Mulige årsaker
- Oxidation and contact resistance in the connector
- The sensor has failed
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool, read the outside temperature in live data and compare it with the coolant temperature after the car has cooled. The readings should be roughly equal
- 2Read the fault code with a diagnostic tool with the ignition on and note whether it is active
- 3With the ignition off, check the connector to the sensor in the left door mirror for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4Correct what you find and make sure the connector is firmly seated
- 5Replace the sensor if the connector is clean and the fault remains
