Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module sets the position of the intake camshaft by controlling its reset valve. The code is set when the control signal to that valve is missing, which shows up as an open circuit in the signal lead.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the signal lead to the reset valve
- Open circuit in the power supply to the reset valve
- The camshaft reset valve is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start with the fuse for the circuit. If it is blown, look for a short to ground in the wiring
- 2Read the fault code with a diagnostic tool with the ignition on and see whether it is active
- 3Look at the connector to the camshaft reset valve for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4With a multimeter, check that the signal and supply leads to the valve have no open circuit
- 5Have a workshop check the reset valve if the fault remains after the wiring check
