Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) compares the fuel pressure on the low-pressure side with the lowest allowed pressure while the engine is running. The pressure depends on engine load and speed. The fault code is set when the pressure deviates too much from the target for a certain time.
Mulige årsaker
- Clogged high-pressure pump
- Clogged check valve in the inlet pipe
- Air in the fuel system
- Clogged fuel filter
- Leak on the low-pressure side or in the fuel lines
- Damaged fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump or fuel pump control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Make sure there is enough fuel in the tank
- 2Look for leaks in the fuel lines on the low-pressure side
- 3Check the fuel filter for blockage
- 4Check the connectors at the fuel pump and the fuel pressure sensor for contact resistance and oxidation
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool: read the fuel pressure in live data with the engine running and see whether it follows the engine load
- 6Have a workshop check the fuel pump and its control module if the fault remains
