Hva betyr feilkoden?
This fault code concerns the control circuit of the fuel pressure control valve, where the signal is too high. The control module sets it when the signal is unreasonable or incorrect. With a cold engine, the valve alone controls the fuel pressure.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connectors
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged fuel pressure control valve
- Open circuit or short circuit in the wires
- A fault inside the engine control module (ECM) itself
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the connector at the fuel pressure control valve for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the valve has no open circuit
- 3Look for chafed or pinched wiring to the valve
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the fuel pressure control valve with the engine running and see whether it responds
- 5Have a workshop check the control module if the fault returns after the wiring has been checked
