Hva betyr feilkoden?
The boost pressure sensor measures the air temperature between the turbocharger and the throttle. The engine control module (ECM) compares it with the coolant temperature, the outside temperature and the mass air flow sensor value. The fault code is set when the reading deviates too much and the signal is too low.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connector
- Damaged air temperature sensor, built into the boost pressure sensor
- Signal wire shorted to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the boost pressure sensor connector for contact resistance
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the sensor has no contact with ground (the body)
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the air temperature from the boost pressure sensor with the mass air flow sensor value in live data after the car has been standing
- 4Have a workshop check the boost pressure sensor if the fault returns

- The car lacks power, especially when pulling away
- The engine hesitates, surges or runs jerkily while driving
- Check engine lamp (MIL) lights up
