Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM measures the air mass in the intake pipe with a sensor and stores the code when the mass air flow sensor signal is too low. While the fault is present, a value calculated from engine speed and inlet pressure is used.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Break in the signal wire
- Damaged mass air flow sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With the ignition on, read the air mass sensor signal in live data and check whether the fault is still present
- 3With the engine warm and idling, read the air mass sensor value and check that the air flow is plausible
- 4With a multimeter, check that the signal wire has no break and is not shorted to ground
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the mass air flow sensor
