Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM measures the pressure in the intake pipe with an air pressure sensor. The code is stored when the reading is wrong for a set time or over two or more consecutive drive cycles.
Mulige årsaker
- Break in the signal or ground wire
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the connections
- Signal wire shorted to supply voltage
- Air pressure sensor in the intake pipe is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check the hoses and joints on the intake pipe for leaks and damage
- 3Check that the connector at the air pressure sensor sits firmly and is free from oxidation and play
- 4With a multimeter, check that the signal and ground wires to the sensor have no break
- 5If you have diagnostic equipment, compare the intake pressure in live data with the ignition on against the ambient pressure and check that the reading is plausible
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the sensor
