Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module checks the PWM signal from the accelerator pedal position sensor. The fault code is set when that signal is too high for a set period of time.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal cable shorted to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal cable
- Open circuit in the ground lead
- Damaged accelerator pedal position sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault code status with the ignition on and check whether the fault is active. Then clear the code and road test the vehicle
- 2Check the connector at the accelerator pedal for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3With the connector unplugged, use a multimeter to check that the signal and ground wires have no open circuit and that the signal cable is not short-circuited to positive
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the pedal position in live data while pressing the pedal. A position that does not follow the pedal suggests the fault is still present
- 5If the connector and wiring are in order and the fault remains, have a workshop check or replace the accelerator pedal position sensor

- The control module uses the analogue signal via CAN instead
- If the brake is pressed at the same time, the pedal position used is the released position
