Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the rear oxygen sensor in bank 2, sensor 2, by checking its signal. The code is set if the limit values are not reached after a certain time, even though the sensor heater has reached its values. The code therefore concerns a low voltage in the signal from the rear sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged rear oxygen sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the rear sensor has no open circuit and is not shorted to ground
- 3Check the connector to the sensor for contact resistance and oxidation; do not use rust solvent spray or grease
- 4If the fault remains, try a new rear oxygen sensor
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Check engine light (MIL) on
Hva feilen kan påvirke1
- Control with the rear oxygen sensor is switched off
Generell veiledning for bileiere. Feilsøking på bilen kan peke på en annen årsak.
