Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module (ECM) monitors the signal from the fuel pressure sensor and compares it with a calculated value. The pressure is expected to reach an expected level at engine start, and when the sensor value deviates too much the code is set. The fault means the signal is too low, and it can cause a loss of engine power.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire is shorted to earth
- Damaged fuel pressure sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and clear the code, then start the engine to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check the connector at the fuel pressure sensor for damage, oxidation and looseness
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire has no contact with earth (the body)
- 5If the fault remains, a workshop should check the fuel pressure sensor and its wiring
