Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control module (ECM) monitors the high-pressure side of the fuel system through the signal from the high-pressure sensor. The code is set when the control module finds that the signal from the sensor is too high. The fault can cause a loss of power and a lit warning lamp.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Looseness in the wiring
- Damaged fuel pressure sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Read and clear the code, then start the engine to see whether it returns
- 3Check the high-pressure sensor connector for looseness and oxidation, and look for chafing in the wiring
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to voltage
- 5If the fault remains, a workshop should check the sensor and the wiring
