Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM checks the signals from the throttle unit's two position sensors. The fault is set when the signal from either sensor is unreasonably low. The other sensor's signal is then used, but the fault can cause poorer performance and affect the cruise control.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Signal wires short-circuited to ground
- Open circuit in the signal wires
- Power supply short-circuited to ground
- Open circuit in the power supply
- Damaged throttle unit
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact. Fuse locations are shown in the owner's manual
- 3Check the throttle unit connector for loose connections, corrosion and moisture
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the throttle unit have no break and are not shorted to ground
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool: read the two throttle position sensors in live data and see whether both values change when the accelerator pedal is moved
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the throttle unit with diagnostic equipment

- The car feels poor to drive, with reduced performance and lack of power
- The car hesitates, surges or runs jerkily, for example during acceleration
- Cruise control will not engage and does not work at all

- If the signal from one sensor is faulty, the other is used
- Cruise control is switched off while the fault is active
