Hva betyr feilkoden?
Boost pressure sensor B gives a signal that is too high. The engine control module (ECM) compares it with atmospheric pressure from its own sensor, and the fault is set when the signal is too high.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to voltage
- Damaged boost pressure sensor B
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With a diagnostic tool, compare boost pressure in live data with atmospheric pressure at ignition on; a high value points to sensor B
- 3Look at the sensor connector for oxidation and loose connections
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to sensor B has no contact with positive
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check boost pressure sensor B with diagnostic equipment
