Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault concerns the fuel flow control valve and the high-pressure fuel pump. It is set when the engine control module (ECM) registers an implausible value on the high-pressure pump's ground wire directly after the pump starts.
Mulige årsaker
- The fuel flow control valve is sticking, and there may be contamination such as water or dirt in the fuel system
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
- Short circuit to voltage
- Damaged fuel pump
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuel level in the tank is not low, and top up if it is
- 3Look under the car and along the fuel lines for fuel leaks
- 4Look at the fuel flow control valve connector for contact resistance, oxidation and breaks
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the fuel flow control valve is not broken
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the high-pressure pump and the fuel flow control valve with diagnostic equipment
