Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) controls the high-pressure fuel pump by grounding its ground lead. The code is stored when the ECM detects that the pump's ground lead has been short-circuited to voltage instead of being grounded. It is a general electrical fault.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Ground lead short-circuited to supply voltage
- Damaged fuel pump
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check the connections to the fuel pump for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4With the ignition off and the connector disconnected, use a multimeter to check that the pump's ground lead has no contact with the battery's positive or any other supply voltage
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the fuel pump and its control
