Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM sets fuel pressure through the fuel pump control module using a PWM (pulse-width modulated) signal. The code is stored when the PWM signal between the ECM and the fuel pump control module is missing. It is a general electrical fault with an open circuit, which may be caused by a signal wire short-circuited to supply voltage or a damaged fuel pump control module.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the fuel pump with the ignition on and see whether it runs; if it does not, the fault is likely still present
- 3Check the connector to the fuel pump control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4With the ignition off and the connector disconnected, use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the fuel pump control module has no open circuit or short circuit to ground
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the fuel pump control module and the fuel pump
