Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM checks the circuits to the injectors and stores the code when the signal to the injector for cylinder 4 is too low. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is. It applies to cylinder 4 only.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire short-circuited to ground
- Damaged injector
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal wire
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read and note the fault code, clear it and test drive to see whether it returns
- 2Check the connector to the cylinder 4 injector for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3With the ignition off and the connector disconnected, use a multimeter to check that the cylinder 4 injector signal wire has no open circuit or short to ground
- 4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the injector for cylinder 4 and its control

- The engine does not run on all cylinders
- The Check engine light comes on or behaves abnormally
- The car lacks power, even when pulling away from standstill
- Uneven idle
